Dr. Larry McReynolds
Dr. Alaina Hansen – DMD
Please join us in welcoming our new dentist, Dr. Alaina Hansen!
Dr. Hansen completed her undergraduate education at Florida State University, and she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Roseman University of Health Sciences. Alaina enjoys improving her patients’ oral health and providing quality dental care and positive dental experiences.
A proud member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Hansen continues her training to stay up to date on the latest advances and technologies in dentistry and expand the services that she can offer to her patients. See Dr. Hansen for your general and cosmetic dentistry needs, in addition to restorative treatment, crown and bridge, root canal, implant restorations, extractions, and more!
When she is not practicing dentistry, Alaina enjoys hiking, camping, and whitewater rafting with her husband and their rescue dog, Dingo.
Susan – Practice Manager
Susan came to the practice in 2022, bringing with her almost 10 years of dental experience as well as 15 years of pharmacy management experience. Her favorite part of working in the dental field is seeing the impact that a healthy smile can have on patients.
When not at work she enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter, laying in her hammock near the water, crafting, and photography. She also has a slight plant addiction and loves to propagate succulents!

Dental AssistantTedra – Dental Assistant
Tedra joined the Athens Family Dental team in 2022. She graduated from Chattanooga State’s Dental Assisting Program in 2012. Tedra later furthered her education in dentistry as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant after receiving her certification in 2019 from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN. She loves helping people find their smiles again and feel better about themselves. When Tedra is not in the office she loves spending time with family.
Anne – Dental Assistant
Anne has been working as a dental assistant for over 24 years. She loves the field of dentistry and strives to provide a relaxed and comfortable dental experience for all patients.
She is married with two children. When not working, she loves to read, bake, and spend time with her family.

Patient CoordinatorChloé – Patient Coordinator
Chloé moved from Cincinnati, Ohio in 2009 to attend Lee University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration. After 10 years in the healthcare world, she is excited to be working in the dental industry! Chloé works in our front office where she welcomes each guest with a smile and ensures their needs are met.
Chloé married her childhood sweetheart in 2014, and they have made their home in Cleveland, Tennessee with their two small dogs, Pippa and Remington. Chloé truly enjoys the work she does and the positive impact it has on those who receive services at Athens Family Dental.
When not at work, she can usually be found with her nose in a book, spending time with family, or, if its summertime, floating on the Hiwassee with friends.
Samantha, Dental Hygienist
Samantha grew up here in McMinn County. In 2018, Samantha graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Hiawassee College. She’s worked in several locations during her career, but she enjoys being back in her hometown, serving her community here at Athens Family Dental. Samantha loves helping people feel confident when they smile.
In her free time, Samantha spends time with her husband Carl, their 2 little boys, and their 3 dogs. She’s also a lifelong member of Athens Church of Christ. One day, Samantha would like to visit and explore castles in Europe.
